The Marlins are contracted with New Orleans Baby Cakes until 2020, the same year the team moves to Wichita and it would be surprising if the Marlins don’t extend that contract to 2022. But after 2022? Affiliates in AAA baseball could see a big shift and Wichita could get a different team affiliated.
