November 29, 2018 - 8:39 pm

Tim Fitzgerald of has reported on a VIP board that Kansas State University Head Football Coach Bill Snyder will most likely step down from his position by the end of the week.

Another report from 247Sports also says that K-State's top option to replace the legendary coach is North Texas' Seth Littrell.

In two stints covering 27 season at K-State from 1989 to 2005 and 2009 to 2018, Snyder has an overall record of 215-117 at K-State.

In a Monday conversation with Wildcat Insider, K-State University Athletic Director Gene Taylor said that he expected to sit down with coach Bill Snyder on Wednesday to talk about Snyder's future with the program he's credited for building from the ground up.

That meeting was expected Wednesday, however the two did not meet or discuss any updates, and there was no timetable for that meeting.
