28-year-old tight end Blake Bell is inking a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Wichita native is coming off a season with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Bell made seven starts this season with KC, including his first NFL touchdown catch in a postseason win over the Houston Texans, and a pass reception in Kansas City's Super Bowl win vs. the San Francisco 49ers.

Bell starred at Bishop Carroll high school in Wichita; his dad and uncle both played in the NFL. The Cowboys will be Bell's fifth stop in the NFL, after stints with the 49ers, Vikings, Jaguars, and the Chiefs.

Bell's deal with Dallas contains $450,000 in guaranteed money, and it could max out up to $1.7 million.
