The Kansas City Royals are making a rare road trip -- to the city of Atlanta. KC will play a brief two-game interleague series against the first-place Braves on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Listen to the Royals and the Braves at 6:00 p.m. tonight on Sports Radio KFH 1240AM 98.7FM.

This is the second-least-played rivalry in Royals franchise history, as KC and the Braves have met only 13 times. (The least-played matchup for the Royals is against the Los Angeles Dodgers, with 12 games played.)

The Royals last visited Atlanta six years ago, and this will be KC's first time playing in Atlanta's new stadium, SunTrust Park, which opened in 2017.

The Braves have the second-best record in the National League; meanwhile, the Royals have struggled with the worst road record in the major leagues this season.
