Trevor Bauer pitched 7 and 2/3rd strong innings allowing just 5 hits & striking out 8 as the Cleveland Indians beat the Royals 3 to 2, sweeping the 3 game series and extending the Royals losing streak to 6 games.

Alex Gordon gave the Kaufman Stadium crowd something to cheer about as he stole home in the second inning to cut Cleveland's lead to 3 to 1.

Trevor Oaks started for the Royals but lasted only 4 innings giving up 3 runs on 2 hits.
Indians reliever Cody Allen struck out the side, finishing off Alcides Escobar that left Alex Gordon stranded on second base.

The Royals are off tomorrow and begin a weekend series at the K against the Boston Red Sox Friday.
