Junior guard Cartier Diarra has entered the transfer portal, intending to leave the Kansas State basketball program. Diarra is on track to graduate from K-State this spring.

His intention is to turn professional, but if that doesn't work out, he could still transfer to another NCAA Division I school and be able to play his senior season right away.

Diarra led K-State this past season in assists and steals, averaging 13 points per game. He started 27 games for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, former Wichita State guard Erik Stevenson is going to transfer to the University of Washington. Stevenson grew up in Washington, about an hour from the Washington campus in Seattle.

Stevenson averaged 11 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this past season as a sophomore at Wichita State, making 21 starts and leading the team in steals.
