*The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the San Diego Padres 3-1 Tuesday evening in Milwaukee, for their fourth straight win.

Milwaukee only had four hits, but two of there were home runs by former Kansas City Royals: Mike Moustakas hit his 35th, and Lorenzo Cain his 9th. The Brewers hold the final Wild Card spot in the National League, with a week-and-a-half remaining in the regular season.

*In Denver Tuesday evening, the Colorado Rockies lost 6-1 to the visiting New York Mets.

Starting in centerfield for the Rockies was rookie Sam Hilliard. The former Wichita State Shocker was 2-for-2 at the plate, recording the second multi-hit game of his young career.
