Wednesday's college basketball roundup from south-central Kansas:

*The Butler community college men's basketball team defeated Pratt 78-55 at the Power Plant in El Dorado; Dennis Higgins had the live call of the game on 98.7 & 1330 KNSS. Butler (12-4) has won four of its last five games, and is now 7-1 on home court this season.

*The 25th-ranked Butler women's team also defeated Pratt, 52-47. The Butler ladies (12-5) are on a three-game winning streak.

*The 20th-ranked Cowley College men won on the road 125-110 at Dodge City. Cowley improved to 14-3.

*The 12th-ranked Hutchinson community college men defeated visiting Kansas City (KS) 98-67; the Blue Dragons improved to 13-2.

*The Friends University women beat visiting Randall 84-58, giving the Falcons their fourth straight win.

*The 16th-ranked Sterling women's team got a home win over York, 83-61. The Sterling women are 7-0 on home court this season, and 13-4 overall.
